Applications are now open for the Winter 2025 Applied AI Research Internship at the Institute of Applied Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (IAAIR).

This 12-week program from November 24, 2025 to February 27, 2026 (including two weeks off for Christmas) offers motivated students and recent graduates the opportunity to explore real-world applications of AI. Interns will gain practical experience developing AI solutions, and collaborating with researchers and industry experts who are advancing the field of applied AI.

The internship is designed for students with a strong academic record and a clear interest in AI research.

The above projects are open to applicants from computer science, AI, machine learning, data science, robotics, mathematics, or related disciplines. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in Python, familiarity with scientific libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib), and a solid foundation in AI or machine learning.

This is an unpaid internship offered for educational and professional experience. Participants must be available full-time for the entire duration of the internship. IAAIR does not provide visa sponsorship; applicants are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to work or intern in their designated location.
